What we can say
No specific safe hiding spot is verified from our footage. A user-supplied recording shows the HIDE warning, and the public walkthrough shows a Found You result after an unsuccessful hiding attempt. Respond to the current warning rather than finishing chores or going to bed, but do not rely on an untested claim that any one room always works.
What happens when HIDE appears
The October 8 supplied footage shows the HIDE warning during gameplay. The public walkthrough later shows a named Found You failure result. The edited clips establish that hiding can fail; they do not show a continuous successful route with the exact room, door state and timing all visible.
Where should you go?
We cannot name a universal safe room yet. If the warning appears, stop the ordinary chore loop and look for the current in-game hiding interaction or instruction. Note the room, whether a door can be closed, and what happens afterward. These are checks to perform in your run, not a promise that a particular location prevents Found You.
Do not confuse HIDE with the hallway figure
Found You is the recorded hiding failure. Peek a boo is a separate result about a figure following the player into the bedroom; a successful recording also shows a phone photo of a hall figure. We have no evidence that photographing the figure is the universal answer to a HIDE warning.
How a safe spot could be confirmed
A continuous successful run would need to show the HIDE warning, the hiding place, any door or interaction prompt, and the event ending safely. Repeating it after an update would help distinguish a reliable mechanic from a one-off edited clip.
Check the evidence
Video observations come from third-party gameplay, including user-supplied local recordings where noted, not an independent in-game test. Official badge links verify the badge listing, not a full unlock route.
- Found You result
The public walkthrough shows the named failure around 18:15. It does not label a guaranteed safe room.
- HIDE warning in supplied footage
A user-supplied October 8 recording shows the warning during gameplay. The local video is not republished and does not establish a complete successful hiding route.
- Separate hallway outcome
Peek a boo concerns a different hallway-and-bedroom result, not a confirmed HIDE counter.
What remains unverified
No safe room, fixed trigger time, interaction distance or success condition has been reproduced by us. Advice claiming an exact room should be treated as unverified until a continuous successful run is available.
